Basotect® absorbs sound thanks to its open-cell structure. The chart shows curves for 3, 5 and 7 cm thicknesses - the thicker the panel, the more effective the absorption of lower frequencies.

α = 0,57at 315 Hz (7 cm)

α = 0,94at 1000 Hz (7 cm)

α = 0,98at 1600 Hz (7 cm)

Reducing reverb helps improve voice clarity for recordings, streams and calls.
The greater the thickness (from 3 to 7 cm), the better the performance at lower frequencies.
The round modules can be placed individually or combined into larger layouts.
Greater thickness provides better absorption of low frequencies.

Sound absorption coefficient α

Basotect® absorption curves for 3, 5 and 7 cm thicknesses. Conditions: 23°C, relative humidity approx. 48%; range 250-4000 Hz.

The open-cell structure is lightweight - its density is approx. 9 kg/m³.
The soft Foamly surface
The panel is soft and pleasant to the touch, so handle it gently during installation.
The round format
No sharp edges, so you can build flowing compositions.
Applied color
The prefabricated panel receives the chosen color after ordering.
A distinctive surface
Small openings and irregularities, in places also visible under the flocked surface, are a natural feature of the open-cell Basotect® melamine foam, not a product defect.
