the dotted front scatters the highs nicely and the bass is under control now. Looks great in the room and feels really well built.

Acoustic data
Absorption and diffusion in a single panel
The filling absorbs low frequencies, while the milled front scatters mid and high tones. The panel helps tidy up the sound while keeping the room's natural acoustic space.
- It reduces low-frequency energy instead of only reflecting sound.
- It scatters mid and high tones, so the room doesn't have to sound overly dry.
- The highest perforation share in the series supports diffusion across the whole spectrum, and the openings also absorb mid and high tones.
- It works well in homes, offices, studios and public spaces.
Measurement conditions given in the data: 23°C, relative humidity approx. 48%. Data range 100 Hz - 4 kHz, maximum α = 0.99 at 315 Hz. [to be added: method, standard and measurement setup]
Construction
A milled front and an integrated absorber
The construction combines a decorative CNC-made front with an absorbing layer and a rigid body.
The DOTS front
About 4 mm of class I beech plywood for colors 1-6 or painted furniture board for colors 7-10. Round holes of varying diameters form the diffusing pattern.
Precise CNC milling
Computer-controlled milling ensures precise cuts and a repeatable pattern across the whole front.
The absorbing layer
Specialist acoustic wool or sound-absorbing EchoFill acoustic granulate, with particular focus on low frequencies.
The body and the fabric
A construction of 3 mm HDF, furniture board and beech plywood, plus acoustically transparent Standard 180 g/m² fabric.

Customer reviews of the AbFuser Dots Wood
4 verified purchase reviews
Schickes Lochmuster, dämpft die Höhen schön und schluckt unten ordentlich. Gut verarbeitet, kam bestens verpackt an.
La façade perforée diffuse bien les aigus et le grave est sympa très joli et bien fini.
Kropki ładnie rozpraszają górę, a dół jest porządnie wytłumiony, w studiu czuć różnicę. Tylko ciężki, kołki trzeba mieć mocne.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
It combines an absorbing layer with a milled diffusing front. It absorbs low frequencies while scattering mid and high tones.
Greater thickness provides better low-frequency absorption, while 6 cm works well in more compact spaces. You’ll find the prices of both variants in the Dimensions and prices section.
No. The price depends solely on the thickness.
Yes, the configuration offers wall or ceiling mounting. The method is described in the Installation section.
Colors 1-6 use twice-lacquered class I beech plywood, and colors 7-10 painted furniture board. Both fronts are about 4 mm thick.
Use the calculator as a rough starting point. The placement depends on the room and the acoustic problem, so it’s worth consulting the layout.
